FALSE ADVERTISING AND POOR SERVICE

I ordered a set of 36 Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils from takealot in December. These pencils were also available on Loot along with a set of 72 but I ordered from takealot because I have been a long standing customer there. Early on in the order process I realised there could be a problem with the order because the status messages were not updating correctly. I queries this suspecting the product was out of stock. I deliberately queried this early as I intended to cancel the order and order to set of 72 from loot. Support did not confirm my suspicions and told me the status is going to change thus progressing the order further. This false information led me to believe there was stock so I left it. The status message did change but reverted back a day later. I queried this once again only to once again get incomplete information. Then takealot changed the status of the item to supplier out of stock which resulted in me sending yet ANOTHER query! Support took SEVERAL DAYS to get back to this query and now I'm told I have been refunded. The item recently went out of stock on loot as well. Takealot has cheated me out of this item!
