False Advertising and Misleading Practices by Takealot
I am writing to express my outrage and disappointment at the deceptive practices employed by Takealot regarding their recent event ticket sales for the house of beauty event. As a loyal customer, I feel betrayed by their actions. Takealot advertised that they would announce when tickets to their event would go on sale. However, they secretly opened sales without notification, resulting in tickets selling out quickly. They then claimed it was their first time hosting the event, attempting to create artificial demand.Takealot promised to release more tickets and announce the sale. On the day of the second batch release, I joined the queue, having been on the site since midnight. Despite being assured my spot wouldn't change, I found over 3,000 people ahead of me when the queue opened.False Advertising*: Takealot misled customers by not announcing the initial ticket sale. 2. *Misleading Customers*: They created artificial demand by claiming it was their first time hosting the event. 3. *Unfair Ticket Distribution*: Takealot prioritized influencers over loyal customers. 4. *Poor Communication*: Robot-generated responses ignored customer concerns. 5. *Lack of Transparency*: Takealot failed to provide clear information about ticket sales and availability.I demand a formal apology, and a review of Takealot's marketing practices to ensure transparency and fairness. Please check out customer complaints on their Instagram page. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt response.
