False advertising and condescending to customers.

I went online at takealot.com, saw their advert displaying this "Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Plus Silicone Cover - Black" - which reads Samsung phone PLUS cover .. clicked add to basket, and paid R580 .. thinking good deal as it is specials for silly season, coming up to black friday etc and my daughter wants a phone for Christmas. Get to work and told by the guys here that that is a great deal but must confirm with Takealot that it is coming .. the phone and the cover. I phone them, first the guy says yes .. then after a few minutes he hums and harrs and goes away and then comes back and says no it is just for the cover and now "you must understand", "you must see", etc - condescending and really taking us for an idiot because they now see there mistake .. and then tries to cover it up with all sorts of ******* from its out of stock (not when they took my money), to i can cancel it, to i must read the description (which describes the cover I am getting with my phone), to what is inside the box (1 x samsung original case) .. it doesnt say excludes phone or anything. I have purchased from takealot before, actually since they started and a few purchases have not even worked which I let go but now this happens and the support staff think we are idiots, we must roll over, we must accept their excuses ... They advertised it like it is .. a phone plus a cover .. and they dont honour what they advertised, except make up all the excuses. It is unacceptable .. why must the public keep losing whilst they take our money and then be so condescending like we are idiots. It is time they honoured what they say on their subject lines as it is false advertising then. We have all the proof ... and this was a present for my daughter. And dont expect everyone to know phone types and prices of what they should be sold at .. its not our job to know, we see, we like, we buy .. we dont go and compare prices, etc ... they must be held accountable for once ... I am ****ed to be treated like this after all this time.
