False Advertising

Hi Takealot advertised for the Ematic Smart Box with 1 month free MWeb. The special ended 31 January. After purchasing the item, I looked in the box for the MWeb Voucher but there was nothing. On 2 Feb, I escalated my query as to how do I use the free MWeb that was advertised on the website. I didn't get a response even after sending a request for an update. I called the call centre now & the consultant said that customers must have some sort of proof of such specials. This is absurd & false advertising. So we must take photos of what's advertised to claim for the additional benefits? Why doesn't TakeaLot know what they are advertising for? The deal expired so I can't go back to check.

Furthermore, TakeaLot doesn't email the invoice as proof of purchase, we have to call or email to request for it & the response is very delayed!! Order No. ***4
