False advertising

So it was Black Friday. I ordered a Polaroid 9.7" tablet for R899, paid, received an email confirmation for my order and all was good. This was all before 7am.

Then later in the day, I check the page again, as I wanted to send the website address to a friend so that she could also purchase the same tablet as the same incredible price. But to my shock, the page had changed completely. Still Polaroid, but now it's a 7" tablet, the description has changed, the pictures have changed.

I immediately contact Takealot via social media and they reply that they have to confirm with their supplier. Couple of hours later they come back and say that the supplier provided the incorrect information.

Since they're not willing to accept responsibility and give me what I actually paid for, I asked for a refund which took 5 days to reflect in my account. It was so utterly misleading and they intentionally changed the page without advising me.

I have screenshots of the page taken the morning, and the same page in the afternoon, which I did send to Takealot.
