False Advertising

I ordered an item on takealot TAAIW 4WD 2.4Ghz Rotating Remote Control Car - Green, it was advertised for R349, normal price R400. The following day it was advertised for R299 normal price R700 (I have screenshots to prove this). How does this work? It seems to be completely false advertising, how much do items really cost, it seems like BS, surely this is against the consumer protection act?
