False advertising
I recently placed a large order for goods through Takealot and if I could I would give a negative rating. I ordered a case of a wine to the value of R266 a bottle - I do not want to name the wine farm as it is not their error - what was delivered was a wine on sale for just over R100 a bottle. I received better service directly contacting the wine farm than the consultants at takealot. One in particular being Eleanor Ndhlovu, she was the last person I spoke to who ensured she would get back to me which never happened she was quick to shirk responsibility to the 3rd party and I had to constantly remind her that I was in fact a customer of Takealot and not anyone else. Dealing directly with the wine farm I discovered that this wine is not even in distribution anymore which is gross misrepresentation and false advertising. The call centre is slow and I have been shoved from pillar to post, the best solution being a delivery of the incorrect product with zero accountability from their side. What will takealot do to rectify this??
