**** goods being sold

<p>I bought a cloud nine duvet cover set in November 2016, but due to being out of the country when it was delivered and my busy schedule, i only managed to look at it during the december christmas holiday. It is claimed to be a 500 thread count which according to the description "Indulge in the lustrous, silk-like feel of the 500-Thread-Count Reversible Duvet Set, which is made from 100% cotton. The silky smooth bedding features original & elegant designs that reverses to a refined & stylish finish". The quality is nowhere near the description and i wrote an email on 03 Jan asking takealot to investigate and after investigation then give me a refund. </p> <p>Instead Somaya Armino just routinely rep**** that i should follow the refund policy and procedure without making any effort to investigate my claims. Which means there is no bother for quality assurance checks for the customers. Yes, my refund claim is outside the 30 day return policy, but i did ask them to investigate first and even if they dont want to refund, at least some effort to find out so that other customers are not subjected to the same sub-par experience.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am a fan of takealot and have bought several items before, however this experience just confirms why consumers prefer brick and mortar shopping as quality assurances seem not to be taken into consideration.</p> <p> </p> <p>It seems takealot is all concerned about policies and procedures and not at the customer.</p> <p> </p> <p>Hugh Nyamukapa ( ********** 140)</p>
