Failure to update delivery times

They do not stick to their delivery dates. My order was supposed to be delivered today however it still shows up as "shipped"instead of out for delivery. I've made attempts since this morning at 9am and the issue was only escalated at 13:00pm. Nobody can tell me why there is a delay ,they only say it's a third party issue. My issue is I have not received any notification or update from them regarding this issue. One of the items in my order was ment to be a gift for my youngest brother who just started exams.
