Failure to deliver product

I ordered a very expensive flashlight from [URL Removed] @ R1999, as a Fathers day gift. It did not come with batteries supp**** and I had to order the batteries as a separate item. They are very expensive rechargeable batteries with a uncommon size that can not just be easily bought from your local retailer. The batteries cost R999 at a 50% discount offer and formed part of my decision to purchase the flashlight. When placing the order online on the 15th of June 2015 it was stated that they would be shipped in 3 to 5 working days. However after payment was made the delivery date was immediately changed to the 27th of June. I queried this with [URL Removed] and they explained that their hidden terms and conditions meant the item would only be shipped to [URL Removed] in 3 to 5 working days. Nice! Yesterday I received an email from a person Najwa Meyer. It very rudely stated that [URL Removed] had made a mistake and can now suddenly no longer find the batteries they sold to me, they are canceling my order and will refund me, no discussion. It's now my problem how I will find the correct batteries for the flashlight. I find this appalling and I demand that you supply the batteries!
