Failed to deliver and blaming it on me yet I paid for next day deliver

I purchased an item on takealot and paid for next day delivery. I got confirmation that my item will be delivered between 8am and 5pm which is rediculous because it means i must be on house arest for 8 hours. Nevertheless for 8 hours I was sitting at home watching the gate. No one came. At 5pm I get a text that they tried to deliver but no one was there to receive the package.
