Failed delivery #***9

I ordered a gift for Christmas. It was scheduled for delivery today. Seeing as it is the day before Christmas, and I had a few things to do, I stepped out for just a minute. And as luck would have it takealot delivered exactly then. I just go a notification they tried to deliver the parcel. NOBODY tried to call and asked if they can leave it somewhere, if I can meet them to collect or anything. Now I sit without a Christmas for my mother seeing as Takealot couldn't bother to pick up a phone and see if we can make a plan. Takealot should know it is Christmas gifts being delivered this time of year and go the extra mile to make sure it is delivered!!! There is off course also NO phone number available to contact them or their courier. You just have to communicate via email and hope they reply!
