Extremely Poor Attitude

I ordered a mouse (Razer Naga) costing well over R1000 just over a year ago, the tracker stopped responding so I logged a call for a collection for the item to be repaired.

The process works very well at this point I will admit, they collected the device within 2 days and so begins the 3 weeks wait for feedback.

After the wait was over I was informed that they were not able to repair the product and that the supplier was out of stock (seems very unlikely to me but sure)

I sent a mail to Jason Petersen at TakeAlot expressing my disappointment in the process, and my frustration that they were not able to assist me with an order I wanted to make with my refunded credit as i was told TakeAlot no longer offer same day delivery and that orders from Cape Town take 2 business days, This order was going to be placed on the 20th and the earliest available date was the 26th (I needed the item for a birthday) Apparently June 20th (morning) to June 26th is 2 working days? And my questions were unreasonable.

What really annoyed me though was Jason's response to my frustration with the process

"It is also important to note that it will be in the supplier or manufacturer’s discretion what remedy it can offer you.

Takealot is under no obligation to provide you with a resolution, as your remedy lies with the supplier or manufacturer.

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to get in touch."

Basically, a "It's not our problem".

For the record, I have been a TakeAlot customer for over 4 years spending well over R10,000 on purchases. With an attitude to service delivery like this, it will be my last.
