Extremely Disappointing Service and Delayed Delivery - Order #***##

I am writing to express my frustration with my recent experience regarding Order #***. When I initially placed the order, I was promised a delivery date of the 15th of this month. However, the delivery was moved to a whole seven days later without any prior notice.

Typically, if an item is on back order, customers are informed upfront that it may take longer, sometimes up to 14 days. Unfortunately, this was not the case with Takealot. The product listing did not indicate any back order status, which means any other customer placing an order for this item will likely face the same issue.

If I had known about this delay beforehand, I would not have placed the order with Takealot. It is extremely frustrating to only be informed of this delay after payment has been made. To make matters worse, even after I split my order to expedite the available items, all items, including the ones not on back order, were still delayed.

Now, Takealot plans to deliver my items separately on the 22nd of this month, wasting both my time and your company's resources by making multiple trips to my address. This situation is both disappointing and unacceptable.

I sincerely hope that Takealot takes immediate action to improve its service delivery and communication with customers. This experience has been a huge inconvenience, and I expect better from a company of this size.
