Extremely Dad Experience

My experience with Takealot.com has been very disappointing. I ordered a wireless controller for my games, which arrived on time, but when I opened the package, the receiver was missing. I immediately logged a return within 30 minutes of receiving the item. Initially, the Takealot app indicated that pickup would happen the next day, but shortly after, I received a text stating that the collection would only be on Monday. This completely defeats the purpose of purchasing the controller with priority shipping, as I intended to use it over the weekend.

To add to the frustration, I received another text from Takealot saying the controller was collected this morning, but it will take 2-3 days to reach their warehouse. After that, I’ll have to wait for them to inspect the controller before they decide to send a replacement, which, according to the representative I spoke to, could take another 24 hours. At this point, I have no idea when I’ll receive the new controller.

I’m extremely dissatisfied with this whole process. Had I known it would turn out like this, I wouldn’t have purchased the controller from them in the first place.
