Expiring Coupon and No Refund

On the 28th of August I placed an order on take alot. It was delivered and then a few months after the charger broke.

I arranged a collection and they had credited me with a coupon (a coupon that expired on the 31st of January). When I wanted to use it it notified me that it expired. When I contacted take alot they told me unfortunately they can re issue a coupon nor refund my money.

So now my thing is. What if it was a coupon worth more than that. So now Takealot wants me to sit back and let them take my money like that.

Imagine how many other people went through the same thing.
