Exceptional customer service from the Call Centre

Kyle A provided exceptional customer service, even though he was unable to resolve my issue due to Takealot's standard operating procedures. He followed up with me twice as promised, providing timely feedback and playing a key role in de-escalating the situation. In contrast, my experience with the East London Takealot branch was disappointing. The staff were dismissive and unsympathetic, despite the fact that I had driven specifically to collect my parcel. This followed an earlier miscommunication with the driver, who incorrectly informed me that I could collect my parcel anytime before 5 p.m. I was unaware that once a parcel is booked in, collection is no longer possible. While the branch's response was unsatisfactory, I greatly appreciate Kyle A's professional and considerate approach.
