EXCELLENT APP TO BUY BUT DARE TO RETURN AND YOU ARE BLOCKED

The Takealot app works seamlessly for ordering but once you need to return goods, the app works well to a point, but then is totally non user friendly.

I logged a return. They send me a date for pick-up, which was not convenient. In contrast when they deliver orders and you can very easily reschedule a delivery, , there is no button to reschedule the pick-up, Needles to say I was not home when the delivery guy arrived and just got another date send to me, again it does not suit me.

Furthermore to this, there is NO WAY to edit your return. I chose the option of refund to my account as I still want to order items. With all the delays with the return I decided to order and pay and ask for a refund on my credit card, but again, no way to access you r refund to edit it.

They do not take e-mails. I completed the online submission form where they ask for the order number. I completed it exactly as it is on the app, just to be told it is not valid. I do not find any other number that may be the order number.

That left me leave you with one last option, call them. If you do that, the computer voice which answers do not give you an option for returns and if you dare to hold the line, your airtime is wasted, you don't get through to someone.
