Empty promises concluded in my Fiance not getting a birthday present on her Birthday

I place an order on the 04.12.2018 which included a birthday present for my fiance whos birthday was on the 14th of December. The reason I ordered it was because the website said it would be delivered by 12.12.2018. The 12th came and I waited, eventually called them around 16:00 and they apologised and advised the delivery will be made before Friday 14th December by 17:00. I called them twice during the day on the 14th and I was promised the delivery will be made before 17:00. I called them by 17:00 as they have not delivered the gift as yet, I was told by the takealot agent that she will follow up and call me back, She called back and the package was never delivered before the weekend, Long story short, I was promised it will be delivered on Friday the 14th after it never arrived on the 12th and now my Fiance never got her birthday present.
