Empty promises and incompetence

I ordered a book in January, and only started reading it now.<br> I discovered that the chapters were completely mixed up because the book was bound incorrectly.<br> <br> 2/3 weeks ago I logged a return for this book and asked for it to be picked up by Mr Delivery. Nobody contacted me for the pick up, so I decided to phone takealot customer service. <br> <br> They didn't know exactly what was going on. Someone told me the parcel had been returned already, which wasn't true. They gave me a new return reference number and again nobody contacted me for the pickup.<br> <br> Again I had to call takealot and the lady promised to call me back, which she didn't. I again received a new return reference number with no explanation whatsoever. So I called again. <br> The lady promised me that Mr Delivery was going to pick up the book the next day. After a whole day of waiting at home, nobody came.<br> I called takealot again said we had to call Mr Delivery. Mr Delivery didn't know anything about a pickup and said it was a problem caused by takealot.<br> <br> I'm sick and tired of all the lies, empty promises and apologies. <br> I hope someone who knows what he/she is doing, will help now.
