empty promises

Almost a Month ago my Samsung S5 that I purchased from Takealot was giving me problems so I decided to call through to the call centre to seek advice. My phone was giving me issues and the call centre consultant that I spoke to understood this at first. I told her that I am a business man and needed to always have a phone at all times and I also asked if I will be refunded for this phone and she said yes. So I went along and purchased another phone knowing that process needs to be followed. Now today I got a call saying that my phone was repaired and will be sent back to me. Now I am sitting in a position with a promise that was made by a consultant knowing I will be compensated with monetary value and that's the reason why I purchased the phone. I would like a recording of the conversation we had so that I can take this matter further if not resolved the way it said it would be. Thank you
