Empty promises

I have ordered 4 items from takealot.com on 30 October and I received a payment confirmation for the order on the same day. Initial feedback was that the order would be delivered after 9-10 days. As the date come closer I received a delayed message that confirmed the delivery note as the 12 November.

I received another delayed delivery for the 13th which become the 14th and then the 15th and then the 19th.

I wrote emails on the 12th and received a confirmation for the delivery on the 14th. I phoned on the 14th spoke to a team leader that informed me that the delivery will definitely be on the 14th. I was told that the items where already at the warehouse after I asked that the order be cancelled.

The 14th came and went, the 15th came and went and still no delivery. Finally called on the 15th again and received an email that the delivery will be on the 19th.

Let's see if they are telling the truth this time or if it is another lie to cover their backsides.

Will think twice in the future before ordering anything from takealot.com.
