Empty Box received and was give attitude by manager

I have never been so frustrated before. I ordered phone battery on takealot and I then received and email saying my battery is ready for collection. After collecting this product I decided to open it just at the robots near the pick up point (about 300m away). I then discovered that the box is empty and went back to raise this with the pick-up point manger who was so rude and gave me a very stinking attitude and told me there is nothing she can do as I have not opened the box infront of her. she then said the only thing that needs to happen is for me to log a return request on the website, yet she did not believe me herself. how is someone whose is just gonna see a return request that say "I received an empty box gonna trust me if she didn't? why not advise every customer to open their parcels infront of them if they know they gonna throw rotten eggs on our faces afterwards. I am still sitting with this empty box hoping they will do something because as it is right now they made 100% profit from me by take my money and not give me anything.
