Ebook ADOBE account

After endless emails to Takealot.com my Ebooks are still unavailable on my new phone as a result of a message, "too many activations", given on my phone. I've been in contact with ADOBE in SA and they have supp**** me with an email that states that the server on which these accounts can be reset has been sold to takealot.com TAKEALOT told me its not there problem but mine and I must reset te account with Adobe. I also have an email where a takealot.com employee told me my ebooks are older than six months so its now my problem?

I never agreed to only use these books for six months, secondly I am a lecturer and haven't been able to use my ebooks for the last 6 months because each and every time at takealot someone else tells you a different story. It is a disgrace that I have been sold several ebooks and now I am being told its my problem and Adobe's problem when Adobe has informed me that the server to reset my account is in TAKEALOT's posession. Who sold me the books? I have lost a great deal of my income as a result of this issue
