Dumping ground for poor quality products

I bought a laptop from Takealot. Problem with ordering online is that you can't judge the quality of the equipment online. Mine broke within one month (the one corner of the laptop came loose due to poor quality/assembly). When I tried to return the laptop, Takealot refused, saying there was 'user damage'. So if your laptop is so flimsy that it comes apart at the seams after one month's normal use, it's apparently your own fault! I have lodged a complaint with the Consumer Protector. Will definitely never use Takealot again.
