double standards
I placed an order on takealot last night and was charged for it. got a mail this morning that ready to collect. then all of a sudden, my order seems cancelled, no communication, nothing. even after i was informed that i should collect. not cool.<br> <br> so maybe you bleive that you have the right to cancel as per terms and conditions, but then u need to be consistent. a friend of mine ordered the exact same item at the exact same price, and he got his delivered today. if he could get his, i want mine.

An inadvertent technical error caused certain items from our camping and outdoor department to wrongfully show as in stock and available at an incorrect price. Regrettably we're not able to fulfil these orders and therefore had to cancel them. The immediate nature of our business unfortunately allows for errors such as these to creep in, which is why we make provision for them in our terms and conditions. We know this doesn't make things any better or make up for the frustration this has caused. We can only apologise for the unfortunate outcome and offer compensation for the inconvenience caused.
We've asked our complaints team manager to get in touch with you to further assist with this.
