Don't purchase appliances on Takealot!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience buying appliances from Takealot.

I ordered a fridge, and when it arrived, it was damaged with a noticeable dent. Due to their returns policy — where they first collect the item and only evaluate it before approving a replacement — I was essentially forced to keep the damaged fridge. The process would have left me without a fridge for several days, which simply wasn’t practical.

A few days later, my dishwasher was delivered — and once again, it arrived damaged. This time, I have no choice but to return it and go through the inconvenient process.

After two major appliance deliveries arriving damaged, I will never purchase appliances from Takealot again, nor would I recommend that anyone else do so. The experience has been frustrating and extremely disappointing.
