Don't buy birthday presents for Kids if you don't want dissapointment!!

Purchased two items from Takealot for my daughter's birthday and the items were not as described on their website. Takealot fails to ensure that the products they have listed on their site matches the information on the product! Both items after numerous emails still reflects the incorrect information and still not rectifying the dissapointment my daughter had to go through on her birthday. The 1st item is a baby that is suppose to be able to drink and wet herself for nappy to be changed. 1. The baby doesn't have a hole in her mouth to take in water, also no nappy to change!! The reason why it was bought as this was a specific wish on my daughter's birthday wishlist. This item has been collected from me, Takealot says they have refunded me but no proof of such in my bank account. Nevermind the dissapointment! Item description on their website has NOT been updated. Waiting for another dissapointment child??

2. A kids camera specifically chose the specific one that is a bit more expensive than the others as the description indicates that the camera comes with a 16G memory card. The camera arrived with no SD card and it won't operate without a card. Second gift. useless. After Numerous emails I eventually received a response that the supplier has given feedback that the camera does not. Come with a card but only a card holder. This is false advertising. Once again.. The item description has NOT been updated and I am not willing to accept 'apologies for the inconvenience.

Takealot needs to take responsibility for the products they have listed on their website. Sorry doesn't fix this. I'm sorry Takealot.. You can't pass the buck to your suppliers response.
