Do not buy Ryobi tools/machines from takealot

About a month ago i purchased a Jp-254L Ryobi jointer planer from takealot. After assembly the machine does not work at all. Requested to replace and was done, received the "new" jointer a couple of days ago, again did the assembly and does not work again! Contact Ryobi and Takealot but no answers, no service after your payment has been made. Ryobi packaging faulty machines without any quality checks?
