DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS FROM TAKEALOT.COM

I am honestly so disappointed with Takealot.com's service.

I purchased two items from takealot, in August/ September Last year. Let me split my complaints.

Speaker/ Sound System

I noticed that what i ordered was not really 100% functional and i was unable to change it due to consistent travel. I then put it aside and did not use it. Last week when i tried i couldn't hear a thing from the speaker system, this will be the second time i am complaining about this system. I listen to lectures online as i am studying and working and i can't always have my earphones on. So please make a plan.

LAPTOP (Again please do not purchase Electronics from Takealot.com

I purchased a Dell bundle from takealot, this one really makes me angry because it only functioned for 1 week or so, it was extremely slow and it couldn't charge not only that but the software wasn't able to update either. - So what is the point of a NEW LAPTOP if it doesn't work? I contacted dell and i was informed that the warranty was soon to expire. I was not informed that when a purchase is made via takealot.com the warranty isn't the same. So i got in touch with takealot and i was notified that they do not do returns or refunds or repairs for dell.

Now all my work depends on my Laptop actually functioning and i must say, Takealot.com have stunted my work as i have had to use my extremely old laptop to do the simplest tasks which have taken me forever. You have taken bread out of my dependants mouths because you aren't even helpful.

FIND A SOLUTION PLEASE. I paid over R5000 for this and now you expect me to find solutions in LESS THAN 1 YEAR? Wow, my old laptop has been here since 2013 and i wanted to provide a simpler solution for myself. I never expected to regret buying from you since i have been a loyal client for years!
