Do not buy a tv from Takealot

I'd like to say that I purchased an OLED tv from Takealot recently (Samsung S90C). It was my first big tv purchase ever really. So first of all I received the package and unboxed it excitedly to find that there was what appeared to be very old foam wedged between the processing unit and the back of the tv. There were also scuff marks on the back and the base (stand) was chipped on one side. Another interesting thing I noticed was the little grey rubber stops that come with the panel on either side, the rightmost one had an "S" written underneath it which can really only mean that the packaged was opened before I actually received it. For all I know I've got an S90C that was a display model and has run for many hours with a significantly shortened lifespan which is often the case with OLED units.

I spent around 24 thousand rand on the unit and really when you're paying that kind of money I think you expect a flawless and brand new product.

Granted I did not report the scuff marks within the first 7 days due to being away for the Christmas. But the resolution was that my return was declined by management and I was credited R100?

Take heed ladies and gents Takealot has been fine for me in the past when I've used them (although a bit slow to deliver at times) but please do not risk buying expensive electronics from them as if you're someone like me who is exceptionally careful to not damage or scratch any tech that I own (and I have a absolute monster of a pc that I clean and maintain frequently) you may end up in a position like me.
