Do better Takealot

I purchased an alva air cooler on friday 5 January for 1799 on a promotion,normallY R2299.The order number was #***.The item was delivered on Saturday whciH i was quite happy about but things went all downhill from there.Upn opening the package i discovered the air cooler was damaged..I quickly took pics and logged a return(#MRRN-5AMBN-***5)for the item on the Monday.it is now thursday and i was notified that the account would be refunded..although i asked for a replacement item .i was told that i would have tp repurchase the item because of the payment method used(payflex)..but not so cause i have done it before with no issues..so now I have to wait for a refund and then have to purchase the air cooler at the original price of R2299..how is that fair?I am bitterly disappointed in Takealot considering i have been repeat customer many times over..
