Dissatisfied and dissapointed

Vacuum Hi we have recently bought a vacuum machine from Takealot and it was n suprise and Birthday gift we were excited when it arrived but did not open it until Saterday 17/08/24. It is suppose to be a brand new machine but when we opened it the first thing we noticed is that the machine has scratches on, the suction pipe looks like it has been used before and dust and scratches on it aswell even the machine look like that it has been used. We were disappointed because we paid for a new machine and what they have send us was someone else's used and unwanted and faulty product. There were also parts in the box that looks it does not belong, one of the wheels were broken and the there were tape on the electrical wire. When we switch the machine on it heated up in an instant and the suction on the machine is very poor. I am disappointed in the quality and performance of the machine. To be blunt I felt that you gave me someone else reject a second hand machine that was returned before. And the help we received when we returned the product they made it that we are at fault and it send the product back to us (the same faulty product) as if the condition that we received the product was caused by us. They said that they Wil investigate but we have never heard from them again. That tell you they are not going to replace it. All I want is either my money back or the chance to choose something els in it's place because we have saved to buy the product and it was a gift
