Disrespectful ****s with no ethics.

Their free takealot more trial is a big *****. They debited the R99 immediately after signing up for takealot more. I ordered last Friday with only in stock items and delivery is only taking place this Friday. They make customers pay for services they can't provide and even lie to us about the free trial. Go to your invoices people and you'll see that the free trial wasn't free at all. My brother noticed the same thing on his free trial version. It was debited immediately. How is this legal? They also have declined an item i sent back a week after purchase. 30 day hassle free returns is a big LIE and the warranty the product carries means nothing on takealot. How can I find a defect in a product if I can't even open the box or use the product to pick up a fault?? Be very weary when buying big items from these guys. Takealot no longer takes back returns if the box is opened. Why does takealot thinnk it's okay to ignore consumer rights and hold their utterly ridiculous return policy above all else. Takealot has been very fishy lately. I returned a big item that was found defective by the manufacturer. I was credit on my takealot account since they kept telling me they couldn't refund my credit into my bank account due to my bank rejecting their payment. I gave them all the correct details thrice. They stuck with their story. Frustrated, I called my bank and they said that can't be true. The funny thing was, I used that same card to make purchases from takealot earlier that day but the card only doesn't work when I want them to refund to my bank account.I asked for proof of payment and suddenly issue magically fixed itself with minutes. I asked yet again for proof of payment, wanting to see proof of failed payments but they are unable to provide me with that or the proof of payment for the successful refund. How strange is that? Their behaviour is one of a çŕiminals. I'm switching to Amazon. Their delivery is free and super quick. Best part is that they don't make up pay more for better delivery times then fail to delivery in those times. Takealot will go down very soon if they keep this up. I was a customer since 2017 and I'm deleting my account once I received my refund. I no longer have strength to argue with takealot or deal with their disrespect. Buying from takealot nowadays is very rusky. They will quickly accept your money but give you hell when you find any issue with your order and refuse a credit & replacement. Their black Friday was also a joke. All prices of thing's in my cart went up by 60% a day before black Friday. I seriously couldn't find one deal that was actually a deal. Many sellers hiked prices up a week before black Friday and dropped it back to original price on black Friday and claimed 30%/40/50% off. Nah, I'm done supporting disrespectful ****s.
