Disregard for substandard products and refuse returns

I even wrote to Frederik Zietsman (CEO) who did not even bother to respond. The product in question is the CoralSky Gillette Fusion5 Compatible Razor Blades (Order #***), delivered on 19 September 2024. The blades are defective—they are blunt, fail to shave properly, cause irritation, and lack a functioning blue lubrication strip. This renders the product unfit for purpose and of unacceptable quality. Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA, Sections 55 and 56): 1. Consumers are entitled to goods of good quality and suitable for their intended purpose. 2. Defective goods can be returned within six months, with consumers entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair. Despite being categorized as non-returnable, such disclaimers cannot override statutory rights provided by the CPA. This product's multiple negative reviews on your platform further highlight the issue's systemic nature. I respectfully request the following: 1. A refund for the defective product. 2. A review of the supplier and consideration of removing this product from Takealot's catalog to prevent further customer dissatisfaction. This Takealot has ignored and no action taken. https://www.takealot.com/coralsky-gillette-fusion5-compatible-replacement-razor-blades-8-/PLID***5 Takealot has refused to remove a product from their catalog and continues to sell a defective product and will not refund. Takealot is increasingly selling products that are substandard and refuse to refund. The hold the market share so why should they care.
