Dishonest pricing displays

I am feeling cheated by Takealot. Yesterday I bought a "Daily Deal" stated as being 48% off. The normal price was quoted as R2498 and they were selling it for R1299. At 23h55 I bought it, believing I was getting a good deal of R1199 off the price!!

Yet, TODAY, just a few hours later, they have the normal price listed as R1849 (no longer R2498), and are selling it at 19% off for R1489. So the incredible deal that I rushed into has saved me, in reality, R190 ... not R1199.

How can you change the price SO much for the sake of making a "Daily Deal" look better? That is plainly dishonest.
