Disgusting Customer Service

I ordered a parcel from Takealot.com. They advised that the delivery would take place on the Wednesday the 29th. I then received an sms to say delivery would be the Tuesday 28th. On Monday morning (the 27th) I received another sms to say that delivery would be before "5pm today". I waited the whole day and nothing arrived. Tuesday morning (28th) i got an sms to say delivery would be before "5pm today". Same story, wait all day an no delivery. Wednesday (29th) i yet againg receive the same sms... The parcel was delivered on Wednesday (29th).

It was not what the advert said it was and on that same day that I took delivery I log it for return. On the website it advertises 2 to 3 days for collection of the return. It is now 2 week and I am still waiting for Takealot to come and collect the return.

They fist send a guy in a 2 door Corsa car to collect my return which is huge box. I invite the guy in so he can have a look at the size of the. He takes photo's to show them that they need to send a bakkie or truck. The next day a guy on a delivery motorbike arrives to collect. That was the last i have seen of Takealot (2 weeks ago).

Every day I get promised by one of the customer agent that collection is scheduled for "today". And every day nothing happens. Their customer service is absolutely disgusting.

They lie to their customers. They do not care about customer service at all. All I have received from Takealot is empty promises.

I DO NOT recommend Takealot.com to anyone. I repeat... THE SERVICE IS DISGUSTING!!!
