Disgusted with Takealot

One star is too much for the experience I received from Takealot. My mistake was to order a TV from them, including the brackets I need to mount it to a wall. Once received I realised the image of the TV screen was very bad and I requested a return to buy a new TV. Putting the brackets, feet of TV and remote all back in the box & courier collected - no hassle. Then I got email from them refusing my return since the brackets were missing. Then the remote. After looking again they found the remote but insisted the feet & brackets were not there. Not wanting to believe my emails (since you can't phone a person!!!) they just returned the TV without brackets & feet. No refund. According to the contracted couriers this is not the first time they had this issue with clients and TV's and other appliances Takealot refuses to return. I was prepared to buy another more expensive TV, but after this incident I'm not buying from them anymore. Disgusted with the 10+ people I had to email and every time they have a different song. I'm done with Takealot.
