Disgusted

Hi all,

I made my very first purchase from Takealot last week, fantastic delivery, a day later the charger I bought broke. I send them the details and within one day they say via sms that the parcel was collected at 8:26, where it was actually collected at 11:34 to be exact.

2 days to deliver, a few seconds to take my cash, 1 day to collect. Now I have to wait 2 - 3 days to have the courier deliver it to the warehouse. So I dont know where the charger came from if it got here so quickly, does the driver, drive around with wonky chargers? Just a question.

After it being returned to the warehouse thats probably in Asia... It has to be evaluated (a single cable and a charging block) they also ask you: " how would you like to be refunded" I opted for the same way I paid: cash. Now who is going to pay my bank chargers? Who has to sit without their money that was paid for a "reliable" charger and who has to sit without a charger for, who knows how long???

I will NEVER in my life order/buy anything from Takealot again. First time customer, last time aswell.

Disgusted. Wish I knew the level of frustration this would cause.... Because then I would just rather drive down to a cellular shop and buy a charger.

So ****ed off.
