Disgusted by return outcome of **** product

So I purchased a pair of mens fluffy slippers for my husband and the reviews were amazing, however the product only lasted 2 months then it broke, the sole came apart infront and you are not able to fix it in the way it is made. Takealot came to fetch the item and refuses to refund me for something that was not used for long and I paid so much money for ****. I was told the outcome was emailed to me but until today I did not receive any email and had to go look on the website what they said. Return declined after product evaluation. Please refer to the latest email communication for more information - that is what is said online and no email sent. Takealot overcharge people and when it comes time for them to refund or replace then the customer is always wrong, I have purchased many things from takealot and will no longer be doing so, I will also tell all my family and friends not to buy from them
