Disgusted at the level of incompetence at TAKEALOT.COM

So I ordered a parcel from TAKEALOT.COM, like I have done many times before. I was given a delivery date, and a tracking link. When I tracked the parcel I found that the parcel was delivered and signed for, only I did not receive the parcel or sign for it. Seems to be a ****** occurrence. I found out that TAKEALOT hires independent drivers to deliver the parcels and not reputable courier companies. The driver delivering my parcel left the parcel on my driveway and drove off. When I tracked the parcel, it says that I signed for it, which I didn't. I keep receiving emails saying that they will get to the bottom of it. The driver contacted me today and asks me did i check the driveway. How am i supposed to check the driveway for a parcel that I know will will delivered to my door, that is what I paid for. Why couldn't he call when making to deliver to say he is on the driveway? or at the gate? Absolutely ridiculous. When I ask him what will happen now if he does not retrieve the parcel. He says " don't worry we always get the parcels back". These are not valid answers. All the customer services agent can say is we will keep you updated, we will let you know, but they cannot tell me if and when I will receive the item i ordered or a refund. It is also ********** to say that I signed for a parcel when I didn't. I am furious and will never order from TAKEALOT.COM again. Disgusting service.
