Disgusted

<p>I ordered something on takealot for the first time for R499. When my EFT went through, I received an email stating my order will be delivered by 29 July. When I clicked on the track order link, it showed that my order is estimated to reach me by 12 August. Already an inconsistency with the emails. Today, 29 July, I get an email stating that they are out of stock and I will not be receiving my order. However, on the site the product is still being advertised, but for R995. I was told that the new price is due to the product now being sold through a third party instead of through them. Takealot refused to pay the difference and failed to give me what they promised. They suggested I buy one of the other similar products that are worth R700+. I am now leaving with nothing, and will never support them ever again. Be warned, these people do not look after their customers. </p>
