Disgraceful Takealot.

I was looking for tracker tag to track my keys etc. with my samsung phone. I purchased an pack of 4 airtag2 from Takalot after reading their advert. Nowhere on their online advert does it say that the airtag tracker2 only works on high end samsung phones or any warning of such nature. My phone is new but not a high end model. I am a pensioner and not tech savvy, so I rely on them to tell you such important information. If they had done so I would not have bought it. When it arrived, yes, I broke the seal, expecting it to work. After hours of trying to get it to link, I phoned my son for help who googled it to find out it will not link with my phone. SAMSUNG A34 5G. I returned it in its original packaging exactly as I received it, with only the small white seal being broken, which can easily be replaced. After numerous requests they have refused to refund my R1399, and just say I broke the seal and must refer to their terms. I asked that a senior person phones me so I could discuss it, but they refused and have just informed me they are not interested and have returned it to me. I find it abhorrent that they are negligent in not disclosing such pertinent information, then return the product to me which is useless to me. I would never have bought it if they had been honest, upfront and responsible in their advert. This is disgraceful and I will never buy from them again. Just a big corporate who takes no responsibility and walks over the consumer when they are in the wrong. This is contrary to the consumer protection act, which says I am fully entitled to return it if it is not fit for purpose.
