Disappointing service from Takealot

I'm very disapppointed with the service from Takealot. I bought a Wi-Fi extender amongst other items and received my order on the 23rd of November. Because it didn't work as anticipated, i returned it the following day to the new pickup point in Pineslopes (Fourways, GP) and requested that they credit my Takealot account with the R229 so that i could buy another one. Since the 24th my account has not been credited and there was no feedback until i called on the 5th Dec. To this day i am being told that they're waiting for feedback from 'the relevant department' and my query has been updated as concluded on their app. Now they're no longer taking calls and my credit has not been loaded. Very disappointing.
