Disappointing. Order No - ***

Takealot has overpromised and failed to deliver yet again. I ordered items I urgently needed, with the promise that they would be delivered on 25 August. To date, I haven’t received any communication regarding my order.

Some of these items are critical for me to complete a sale in my business. I’ve already communicated to my client that they can collect on Monday, but now I’m left inconvenienced, at risk of losing the sale, and looking unreliable because of Takealot’s failure.

Why promise a specific delivery date if you can’t deliver and worse, not even communicate the delay? The service is absolutely pathetic. If Takealot had been upfront about not being able to meet the delivery time, I would have chosen Amazon instead. At least they deliver when they say they.
