Disappointed with Takealot

Bad rating. Purchased items to receive them well in advance before going on leave and in time for Christmas, however takealot failed. My parcel was due for delivery today and got 2 smses an hour apart saying I was unable to receive my item, don't know how this was possible as I was waiting for them SINCE 08H00 in the morning!!! I phoned the contact centre but they were full of promises of ensuring that my item will be delivered latest tomorrow, then again promising to involve management and and and.. takealot probably had a typo on their app meaning that they will deliver my parcel on the 9th of Dec 2023. Also, contact centre not allowed to provide management staff contact details. They cannot provide me with the branch's details to be able to follow up on my parcel myself. When did takealot's good, professional and efficient service get so pathetic?! Beyond annoyed and frustrated
