Disappointed Takealot Customer

This is not so much a complaint, but rather to advise other consumers. I purchased two bar stools from Takealot. I only opened it two weeks later and one seat was damaged. They refused to credit me. According to their policy, defective goods need to be reported within 7 days. I am highly disappointed. All the items in the box are still sealed, yet they wont refund me. The purchase was pricy, so I have lost a good deal of money. What is most disappointing, is that I am a regular customer who has spent many, many Rands with Takealot. So my advice is that if you buy anything from them, try to open it immediately.
