Disappointed! Missing Phone, Wrong Cable, and No Urgent Help from Takealot

I am extremely disappointed with Takealot! My order arrived on time, but the most expensive item — the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro — was missing from the parcel! On top of that, the mic I ordered needed an XLR cable, and they sent me the wrong cable but labeled as XLR!

I had a podcast shoot scheduled on Saturday for my YouTube channel, with panel members involved, and because of this mess, everything was a disaster. When I called Takealot for help, nobody could give me a definite answer on how or when this would be fixed.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I live only 10 minutes away from HiFi Corp, and I regret not buying the phone from them instead. Now I have another shoot on Friday with even more people, and I still don’t have my items or a proper resolution from Takealot.

Takealot, this is unacceptable for loyal customers. You need to urgently improve how you handle such serious issues.
