Disappointed long standing client

I received my citrus juicer on the 05th January 2024. I tried testing the product and found that it does not work as promised. The battery wears out after just juicing 1 orange. I then recharged it, and this time it just not comes on. I then logged a return, and to my disappointment, I was told that due to me using the product, they will not refund my money. My point is, how am I suppose to know if the product is working if I don't try it. I found my experience rather disappointing with Takealot. I am so glad Amazon is being introduced. I am sure we will have better service from them. Bye Takelot.
