Disappointed in delivery exceeding 30 days
I ordered a book yesterday night with the hope that it will be delivered next week before we go away for the holiday season. I opened my email this morning and only realized that it will be delivered 19 January 2016 which is more than a month after ordering date???? One would expect that a online business like takealot would be convenient and easy to use but honestly if a went to a book shop today I would have received the book in no time. Now I paid and when we are well in the new year I will receive the book?? I cant read at work. This order defeats the products purpose, Id rather go the the shops in the future because takalot isn't Kalahari. Its sad that they bought Kalahari and that the service was forgotten or downgraded. I will request a refund when the deliver the product next year - its just a pity that I need to wait more than a month to do this.
Kindly note that the particular book which you have ordered is imported from an international supplier. As indicated on the product listing we therefore require 15 - 20 working days for the item to ship to us. Once the stock arrives at our DC we can then schedule your parcel for delivery and on standard delivery you are given an estimated delivery date of 19 January.
